Successful Booksale

July 4th was a festive and exciting day in Orinda, marked by the annual parade and a wide array of activities at the Orinda Community Center. The Friends of the Orinda Library were proud to be part of the celebration with our popular annual book sale. This year’s event drew a large crowd, with shoppers browsing through hundreds of donated books and puzzles. There was something for everyone—novels, coffee table books, children’s titles, and a variety of non-fiction. Thanks to the enthusiastic support of our community, we raised nearly $3,000 to benefit the Orinda Library. We are deeply grateful to our dedicated volunteers and to all the shoppers who made this event a success.
