The Friends of the Orinda Library is pleased to be sponsoring a special talk by noted Berkeley scientist, activist, and author Joshua Miele. His new book, Connecting Dots: A Blind Life, discusses his life, his accomplishments, and his ability to overcome a horrible event in his early life. He will be interviewed by our very own county librarian, Alison McKee, at this special event.
Join us on Wednesday, April 30, for a brief reception at 6:30 followed by his talk at 7;00pm. The event will be in the Library Auditorium, and seating will be on a first come, first served basis.
