On Saturday, January 11, Orinda author Leah Fisher launched her new book titled My Marriage Sabbatical. Her entertaining and informative talk at the Orinda Library Auditorium was sponsored and facilitated by the Friends of the Orinda Library. The audience of approximately 100 heard some of the details of her year spent apart from her husband as she traveled through many countries, including several in Central America. A reception followed in the Library Garden Room which provided an opportunity for those who attended to chat with the author and completed this thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Friends of the Orinda Library look forward to sponsoring additional events in 2025.
