Welcome to the website for the Friends of the Orinda Library. We are a California non-profit corporation, established many decades ago to provide substantial financial and community support Orinda’s library facility, its collections and varied programs.

Are you in high school? Do you love to write? The annual Poul Anderson Creative Writing Contest has begun! Students residing and/or attending high school in Orinda are welcome to submit one entry in any of the four categories: Science Fiction, Essay/Memoir, Poetry and Short Story.
